Combing the depths of retrospace to preserve the past! The purpose of this website is to archive interesting tidbits from the past on this ever dissapearing internet, and give you guides that will help you use old technology in the current day and/or scratch that autistic itch of yours with things only a total nerd like you (and me) would find interesting.

Update: August 22th, 2020

Mainly a slight tweaking of the Newbie guide and the update page, nothing really to see. Right now I'm in a bit of a meh situation: My windows 98 PC has been out of commission for a while, and I can't really use it on Virtual Machine because of my Ryzen processor. So that makes updating this site a tad hard when I can't take the screenshots I need for the guides I want to make, or test out the things I want to make webpages about. So, now I wait and learn web site development while I accumulate enough money to get a new case and power supply for my awesome Windows 98 project which I'll talk about on this site soon. It will take problably a month due to all the other things I have to sink money into, but it will FINALLY be complete after a friggin haitus of a year of everything going wrong. Hopefully you'll find my story interesting!

Update: August 14th, 2020

It's funny, I keep coming back to this site whenever theres something I've forgotten about setting up Windows 98 hardware, so I think what I'm gonna do is try and update it more, and mainly focus it on Windows 98. All links have been removed for restructuring, but for now here is the link to my Win98 revival guide

Update: October 11, 2018

It's been too long friends. I can't promise I'll actually do jack shit with this website (like 99% of the stuff on neocities) but I have been uploading stuff to my archive.org account. Some of the stuff I'd like to individually link to this site, but my lazy ass may not get that done. You can find my uploads here.

Update: January 31, 2018

In typical web 1.0 fashion my site was created, gave a lot of promises to people, and never updated. I don't really plan to abandon it, but I think I'll pass on the web 1.0 style and instead use this to learn HTML.

Update: October 23, 2017

Finally fixed the Windows 98 revive guide. It was originally sitting on my computer for a while, so I just uploaded it, not realizing all the grammar errors I made. It's been updated now, with some fixes and added information. Most of my time dedicated to this site has been doing research, and the major update I have planned is still a ways off. It might not please everyone, but I think some people will find it neat.

Update: October 12, 2017

I finally broke the site out of it's long held egg. No more shitty red screen full of incomprehensible gobledegook. There is now a guide for breathing life into windows 98. I am preparing for another major update.
