Finding drivers for Windows 98 can be a real pain in the ass. You may have already tried looking for drivers. Some manufacturers like Dell still have well catalouged driver lists for their old PC's, but a lot of drivers can be harder to find, if not non existent on the web anymore. HWINFO is without a doubt the best Win9x hardware scanner you can get, because it's main developer keeps active contact with the retro enthusiast community to increasingly add support. Other options include CPU-Z (last 98 version from 2016) and Everest (discontinued, last free edition in 2005). |
